Overtime Fall Training
The Fall Training Program is Overtime Lacrosse’s premier skill development series, built for players who are serious about elevating their game. Designed for boys and girls of all positions and grade levels, this 11-week program is a dynamic supplement to traditional team and club practices. Led by seasoned coach Trey Whitty, each session emphasizes skill development, lacrosse IQ, competitive spirit, and mental toughness—all in a fun, supportive environment. Groups are intentionally kept to a certain size to maximize individual attention and reps, while also allowing the session to be filled with pace and energy. Frequently Asked Questions
What are the goals of the Overtime Fall Training program?
We want each player that is involved in our program to grow their skillset throughout the 11 week program, build resilience and competitive spirit, and enhance their love for the game. This looks different for each age group, but Trey's experience in coaching and teaching allows him to differentiate these programs for age-appropriate development.
What positions is this program for?
All field positions for lacrosse will benefit from this program! We will teach and drill the fundamentals of the game, grow overall lacrosse IQ, and build competition into the program. Lacrosse becomes more positionless each year, as defenders are expected to have great skills and create offense, two-way middies become more impactful on the game, and elite attackmen are great riders. We will drill all aspects of the game, and create well rounded lacrosse players.
Why group training, and why 12-16 players per session?
Overtime believes that group training is the most efficient model of training available in the landscape of lacrosse development. In a fast paced environment (which we are!) we need numbers to allow for some rest, while maintaining high quality repetitions. These numbers are the perfect balance so that kids are not continuously waiting in the back of lines, while also ensuring the intensity of play. With 12-18 players we can create competition, and allow our kids to challenge eachother. With too low of numbers, you'll just have a few kids running through some cones. Too high of numbers, and the reps will be lacking.
I'm a goalie, is this program for me?
We love our goalies, and want them to get live reps and learn to communicate with the players in front of them. However, we do not offer goalie specific training. Our goalies will receive a warmup and general coaching throughout the session.

If I have a group that we'd like to keep together for training, can they do so in the Overtime Fall Training program?
In short, yes! Please reach out directly to Trey to facilitate this. Trey@overtimelacrosse.com
